		ARCHITECTURAL SIGNS

	Architectural Signage in itself is an area of great diversity. By definition alone, architectural signage becomes a part of the architecture to which it is attached. Utilizing a variety of materials, the most common of which are Acrylic, Aluminum, Brass, Bronze Copper, HDU and PVC, Lettering, Logos and Graphic Elements are Flat Cut, Custom Fabricated and Cast. Custom paint matching with over 90 thousand color formulations, are available in matte, satin or high gloss. Metals can be sandblasted, satin-brushed, acid washed, mirror polished.

The purpose of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is to make public sites, facilities, and buildings accessible to and usable by people with physical disabilities. The section of ADA that has the most effect on the sign industry is Title III, which deals with Public Accommodations.

Braille Signs are required by ADA regulations, and the law requires that all areas, both public and privately owned and are accessible to the general population post a variety of tactile Braille signs.Title III details specific characterisitics to enhance accessibility through improved legibility and the standardization of sign placement. .
